I'm certain I'm not using a modified version. Just what is available from my package manager in the link I posted.

It hasn't worked for a long time, but I just got around to reporting it since I always start from the console and can always look there instead. I'm happy to troubleshoot anything you can think of, but I never see a pop up message, and never a result in the error log which is where I always saw it before. I can take a quick video if you need it.

Could it be a settings issue?

Thanks!

So you are not using a personally modified version, but if you didn't download it from my SourceForge collection, you cannot tell if it's an unaltered version. The SourceForge version is 1890 bytes, and its MD5 hash is 6300449e6050518d29048870943f0c48. Is that the one you are running?

Are you running Arch by the way? IIRC some of my scripts have been included in Arch packages (but I don't know if these are kept up to date).

I thought you were asking about a modified version of Gimp.

Here is my version of text-info-0.1.py

Code:
[~/.config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins] $ md5sum text-info-0.1.py
6300449e6050518d29048870943f0c48  text-info-0.1.py

I am running arch, but not using the aur for your plugins. I am subscribed to your updates directly so I just get what I need when I see the updates come through.

It's not that big of a deal. I always launch from the console anyway because of the many bugs I encounter and I can just get the info from there. I just liked having it in the error console.

Thanks
