Hi,
Just installed Gimp 3.0.4.
Opened an image, which I turned horizontally. Then exported it to my desktop as jpg. Unfortunately the image isn't turned horizontally. The original image is exported.
What did I do wrong?
Thanks in advance and kr, Leo.
Falu: Hi! How are you turning the image? Are you using the View menu or the rotate tool?

Thanks for quick response.
View > Mirror > Mirror horizontally
Leo
Thanks! "View" menu is meant to be non-destructive - it doesn't change the image, just how you're looking at it. It's like turning your head when you look at something - you're not actually rotating the object, just how you see it.
For actually changing the image, you can use the Flip tool or Layer -> Transform -> Flip Horizontal.

Thanks a lot for your help.
Much appreciated, Leo.
