This is so sad. GC has been my home away from home for so long, and I really am missing it. I do hope it will be resurrected. Meanwhile, is there a consensus on the best place to keep in contact, like here?

Can you share?

So there is a chance that 'phoenix like', GimpChat will rise again and all its historic value will not be lost. Here's hoping.

Me too.
We shall see what happens.
Seems like the 'new' administrator of GC didn't do something. Or has something happened that I am unaware of?
I haven't been able to get it for well over 24 hours now. Tried 'down right now' and sometimes it said it was reachable and sometimes it said it was down for everyone. Took me this long to find my link for this place.
Still Down!?
OK What can we chat about?
The site owner said he was working on the issue.
Now we wait...
I've been leaving messages everywhere I could trying to find out what happened. Sallyanne got my message on Deviantart and led me here. I have a login but forgot about this site.

You can also get thru the site via the web archive wayback machine i believe.

I'm hoping that all this can be resolved well and soon. I miss the forum that I trust and my friends always willing to help. So many tutorials, and valuable information that we had available to all members. I feel very affected and disappointed.
I see the list of tutorials Rod gave us but when trying to open them the page doesn't open.
