Greetings--
(I am using GIMP 2.10)  Somehow I lost the patterns in the box down at the lower right corner box.  All I have now there is burlap.  I didn't delete them, they just are no longer showing.  Does anyone have an idea what I did?  Thanks in advance.

Somewhere along the line you have applied a filter or tag to the patterns. Something like;

[attachment=2468]

That is a standard tag that comes with Gimp; A bit about tags here: https://docs.gimp.org/2.10/en/gimp-tagging.html

If you ever do make your own and want to get rid of them, they are held in the file ~/.config/GIMP/2.10/tags.xml It is safe to delete that file. Gimp will make a new default version.
