Where can I find similar type filters - (3rd Party?)

The only one that comes to mind straight away is
Luce a compiled plugin.

Luce for GIMP. Versions for Windows / Linux / OSX With a bit of luck the osx version might work with your installation.

The little yellow "sunburst" Put that in because even an unlikely script might work, depends what you want to do.
