Gimp-Forum.net - os mojave and 2.10 ....ok?

Hi,

I'm using GIMP 2.8 and am contemplating whether I should upgrade to 2.10 (or not??).... but I'm on an older MBP that's a 2014 running OS Mojave. Can it handle Gimp 2.10?

Also, if I do upgrade, will I lose anything in the different functions or will I have trouble opening my 2.8 projects after the upgrade.

Not many MacOS users on this forum. My advice is ask on http://gimpchat.com/ where one of the moderators 'Marvin' uses a similar version to yours and I am sure will give good advice.

Thanks for letting me know that! I had no idea. ..... should I still "hang" around here for 'how-to' things? Or, is Gimp different on the different machines?

You can still ask questions about Gimp here. Whether Windows / linux /MacOS Gimp is still Gimp. Only problem is when it comes to questions like yours which needs the Apple hardware.
