Hallo

In the actual gimp-version the sliders of the color chooser dialog are to a big amount covered in the out-of-gamut-marker-color.
How can i remove this overlay?

Change to the HSV model. (1) Enable the Hue slider (2) Click in the vertical (specrum) bar (3)
Yes, this is exactly right.
will the change stay forever after doing your steps?

Edit:
after i picked a color from the actual opened graphic-file, the sliders are covered in that marker-color again and i see values, that are higher than the normal maximum of the sliders...

how to fix this?
Gimp will start a session with the 'change fg/bg colour' picker in LCh mode.
There have been requests to the developers have an option for a user to set a default HSV. Once set to HSV mode it will stay as that until either you change the mode or you close and re-start Gimp.
