Has anyone tried using MathMap with the latest 2.10.28 version of GIMP? I'm a bit wary of trying it as I couldn't get it to work with 2.10.24 and reverted back to 2.10.22.

Just tried it with this caveat:

Using the mathmap files as described here: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Instal...3#pid19023

Edit: ... and from an earlier post, that seems to be the one you are using. Perhaps the mathmap Gimp 2.10.24 problem might have been similar to the g'mic plugin failure. Now fixed with Gimp 2.10.28 - use the gimp_gmic_qt pre-3.0 version.

Thanks Rich2005, MathMap worked just fine. Had to install the latest dev version of G'Mic to get it to work

Something I haven't been able to get to work in this or the previous version of GIMP is was on is Resyntheiser. Did a search on here and installed the set of files you provided at the link below but they plugin doesn't appear. Python Fu does appear in my Filter list. Any ideas on this one? I used to use it a lot so it would be good to be able to do so again.

I have no idea why that is not working. I have confirmed recently that either set work with Gimp 2.10.28
The four files resynthesizer.exe resynthesizer-gui.exe + the two 'heal'.py go in your plugins folder
C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins
The two 'heal' plugins register in Filters -> Enhance and resynthesizer registers in Filters -> Map -> Resynthesizer
Just tried again this time simply adding the files into the plugins folder (rather than into a separate folder within that) and it's now working fine. Thank you so much!
