Hi, I'm trying to open a .psd file in GIMP, but the "Fracles" part, that is supposed to be 3 layers shows like a folder. How can I open it? Or is this a feature that does not exist in GIMP?

I think not supported, plenty of PS file format "extras" that Gimp cannot use, adjustment layers, actions ... 

Try the online editor https://www.photopea.com/  and if anything shows maybe save as a multilayer tiff, might/might-not work
