Hi,

I have questions about free select tool.

1. How do I make the line darker so easy to see it?

2. How do I connect the first point and the last point (a closed loop)?

Regards,
To close the loop I hover the mouse pointer over the beginning point.  The point becomes a solid yellow circle and I click on it to close the selection.

I don't know how to make the line darker.

You do not need to "join-the-ends". Applying the free select tool by enter key or selecting another tool automatically creates a selection joining first and last points.
Hi,

Zeuspaul:
it’s hard to see the lines created and also a solid yellow circle, if the background is a light colour.

Rich2005:
I tried your suggestion but once I selected another tool, the lines disappeared.

Hmm...you mean it does not work like this?  https://i.imgur.com/YXMnYRt.mp4

Make sure you have an image open and check that you have View -> Show Selection enabled.

Hi rich2005,

Yes, you are right. Once I checked "show selection" all lines appeared.
