I still use MS Word 10.  I have a desktop PC.  Why can't I do more than download gimp?  No problem there, but I can't open it or use it.  Thanks.

What do you mean exactly by "I can't open it or use it"? Exactly what actions, what expectations, what results (error messages, etc...). And what would MS Word have to do with it?

Definitely need that information but I wonder if OP is installing Gimp via M$ Store ?
