Hi, I have an image, I am trying to make it look like the lock screen blur image.

I tried adding Gaussian blur to the image as well as a white layer over it. But both seem to give bad results. Any tips will be great. Thanks.

This is using a Windows 10 logged-out / login as a target

This first using a gmic frosted glass filter with minimal settings. The inset is the (part of) the original Win10 screen

Then a gaussian blur with the inset showing the Win10 blurred login screen & a close match.

However I think you are looking for a stronger obsured glass type effect. I thought I had a plugin for that but can't find it
