How do IĀ install Beaver's third party GEGL Plugins for Gimp?

https://github.com/LinuxBeaver
There is one big hurdle for installing those GEGL filters in a MacOS Gimp installation.

None of the filters are compiled for MacOS, The available filters are either for Windows (xxx.dll) or linux (xxx.so)

Why not ask the maintainer, a good place is tack onto the end of this post: ( beaver aka contrast_ )

Compile and put them in
~/Library/Application\ Support/gegl/0.4/plug-ins/

If the plug-ins folder does not exist then create it.

We have never tested on Mac but we have no reason to believe it should not work.
IMHO , if you have the knowledge to compile the filters in the first place then you probably do not have to ask where to put them.

I could be wrong of course, frequently am. I hope the OP is successful
With few searches it seems that the extension could be ".dylib" for Mach-O, thus .dll for windows, .so for Linux, and .dylib for macos

How do I compile them?
