"Sure, but they are not linked like in 2.10. I thought maybe the chain icons aren't there yet, but the function is accessible with a keyboard shortcut. Thanks for taking the time to show me the example!"

Regarding the topic that started this thread, I found that I was missing the opencl-nvidia package. Now I don't need to invoke DRI_DISPLAY=1, primusrun, prime-run, or anything like that anymore. When I launch GIMP, it automatically uses the Nvidia graphics card. I can see it in nvidia-smi.

Clearly, I had installed the opencl package but not opencl-nvidia. Thanks to everyone for the help.

PS: How do I close the thread/topic?
