Rich,
I continued to try with just the one manipulation, just tiles, and I accidentally left an uncropped image in the source directory and it worked! I got 4 sliced images in my output directory. Of course the cards were not cut properly but I did get 4 sliced images.

The resolution of the cropped image is 1878x900 but the resolution of the original screenshot is 3840x2160 The smaller image produced no output.

Any ideas?

Confirmed, I put a mix of cropped and uncropped images in the source directory and only the larger uncropped images were sliced.

Rich,
If you would like to try here are 3 original screenshots taken from my Steam game folder. These are the actual images I am working with

New info! Size doesn't matter! I scaled my smaller cropped image with just the cards to 3840x2160 and ran the same manipulation and got no output. It doesn't like the image of the cards alone.

I took 11 uncropped images and 11 cropped images and put them all in one folder and ran the tile manipulation on them and only the original uncropped images were sliced.

I cannot figure this out.

A new day, another try.  Sticking with Win11 / Gimp 2.10.38

It is probably the path(s) to original / save "C:\SS\...something but it might also be the crop size. The python plugin is picky with sizes.

I got this to work with the set of screenshots: cropping to 1860 x 940 @ 992 , 612

However, you could also try an intermediate BIMP Scale (between crop and the tiles plugin) 2000 x 1000 shrinks the height a little by 11 pix - not a big deal and the python plugin has a 4 x 500 pix width.

How you guys work with Windows, I do not know. it is horrible.

Thanks Rick, I am off to try again!

As for Windows, I am a huge PC gamer and while gaming on Linux is better than ever gaming on Windows is less hassle. As for working with Windows I am retired and I don't work enough on my PC to make setting up a dedicated *NIX box and dual booting is also a pain.

By Jove you got it!

For the record changing the directory had no affect but switching the crop resolution (solution 1) did the trick!

Thanks again!
