How to fill a selection with color - snowforest - 02-27-2025 I select an area, and then with bucket fill I try to fill it with a color I selected before so I apply bucket fill inside the selected area. Sounds simple right? Nope. That is too easy for gimp. It doesn't fill. What am I missing? RE: How to fill a selection with color - Ofnuts - 02-28-2025 What is filled are pixels in the current "drawable" (usually a layer, but can also be a layer mask or a channel). So this drawable must have an intersection with the selection mask. So check you active layer (and its boundaries), and also check that it isn't protected by locks. |
