Recent folders missing from file export - sawzie - 05-09-2025 Hi, I just upgraded to Gimp 3.0.2 recently from one of the 2.X versions. For reference, I'm on Windows 10. I'm still getting used to the changes, but one immediately noticeable missing feature is that there doesn't seem to be a 'recent folders' option when exporting files like there used to be. ![]() Since my folders can be a bit all over the place or buried deep in subfolders, this is a real pain, and I don't know why it was removed. Am I just missing something? Thanks. RE: Recent folders missing from file export - rich2005 - 05-10-2025 I do not think you are missing anything. The "Recent" entry above "Home" is there in Open but not in Export It might be an oversight, you can ask for it from the Gimp developers https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues Even Gimp 3.0 Open is a bit different from Gimp 2.10 No folders showing but there is a location column. You can use + Other Locations to add to the list (but too many and it becomes unwieldy) |
