Windows save - Jukken - 06-26-2025 I have three monitors and a TV connected to my PC. TV is usally turned off. Gimp is on one of the monitors. I go to Save As or Export As in gimp. The pop-up where I put in name for the file is nowhere to be seen. Nothing. Then I turn on the TV - and there it is. Extremly frustrating. I drag the save-window to the correct monitor. I then go to Preferences and go to Window management - Save Window Positions Now. ok, all good - so I thought. Shut down Gimp and restart program. Try and save again - and the **** save-window tops up on my friggin TV (that is shut off). How do I actually save EVERY gimp-window on the correct monitor? RE: Windows save - Ofnuts - 06-26-2025 Can't tell for Windows, but on Linux, dialogs seem to open on whatever is the "main" monitor (which in my case is the laptop display) RE: Windows save - Tas_mania - 06-26-2025 I wonder if it's a Gimp 3 bug? It may not have been tested on a 4 monitor setup (including the TV). Do you get the same results with the File > Open dialog? RE: Windows save - sallyanne - 07-01-2025 Do also check 'x' the 'open windows on the same monitor they were open before'
