Warped text - Tonton - 07-12-2025 Hello all ! Someone may help me how to create an image with a warped text like this ? Thank you ! RE: Warped text - rich2005 - 07-12-2025 If you really are using Gimp 2.10 then there is a plugin to warp a path made from text. see: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-ofn-bend-path ...and in case you miss the link it is https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-path-tools/files/scripts/ look for ofn-bend-path.zip dated 2023-01-30 There is help file in the zip. [attachment=13691] If using Gimp 3.0 then nothing at the moment, maybe possible using the gimp_gmic_qt plugin or even the old Filters -> Distorts -> Curve-bend ....but a better way is not Gimp - use Inkscape. Edit: OK, using the Gimp: Filters -> Distorts -> Curve Bend filter same for Gimp 2.10 or Gimp 3.0 Make the text - Stretch the text vertically - Apply the filter example https://i.imgur.com/IAWGBcz.mp4 RE: Warped text - Tas_mania - 07-13-2025 I was doing this recently with 2.10.X . I didn't use the script rich recommended but it obviously works. This is what I did: Make text > Gimp > Filters > Distorts > Curve bend do lower curve flip layer vertically > Filters > Distorts > Curve bend use the same curve but on the upper side > flip layer back. This was just an experiment but it works well ![]() |
