Adding to a section, Shift doesn't work on macbook - blogsofwardotme - 08-04-2025

Hi, when selecting with the free selection too (lasso) I can't never get to the end because it closes before I am finished. I tried pressing shift to ad but absolutely nothing happens on mac sonoma. I found there is "add" but I don't see it under the selection menu, neither in help.
Thank you.

Once you have an element of the selection, you must "commit" it by double-clicking inside it or hitting the Enter key before you can add another element to it. You can also do the whole process piecemeal, creating the elements and adding them at the end. See this: Painless use of selection tools.

To add to an existing selection you have to set the mode of the selection tool that you are using
