Learning GIMP after 30 years with Photoshop - Rosseliani - 10-01-2025

Hello everybody,
I recently decided to cancel my expensive Adobe Photoshop account.
Now I am learning to use the GIMP and I often encounter difficulties.
I already found that some Gimp features are better than Photoshop features.

My question is: Is there on the Gimp-Forum.net a thread about migratong from expensive Photoshop to free GIMP?

Thanks for answers!

Just ask questions in General questions as they come.

This forum has already discussed many workflows. You can find them using the search function.

Allow me to contribute.

I also come from Photoshop, which I used for about three years, and I'm also really enjoying GIMP. This is how I've been learning. I watch videos on YouTube and even found an international channel (for me, being from Brazil) that I really liked. However, most of the videos are for GIMP 2.10, but it helps a lot. Another way to learn is by posting your questions here.
