Apply filter as brush? - mrkid - 10-17-2025 Is possible to apply a given filter as brush? I mean, while you are painting over, aplying it as if you were selecting what the brush paint. I saw that in a windows program called "Foto sketcher" that allow you to manually apply the effect while you are painting, i thought it was a brilliant idea, but with any filter. Maybe something like that is possible, and im not aware. RE: Apply filter as brush? - Tas_mania - 10-17-2025 Open an image , add an alpha channel to it. Duplicate the layer, make the lower one active, apply 'a given filter' to the bottom layer. Then make the top layer active . Use the eraser tool to brush out the surface and reveal the bottom layer. I made an example. [attachment=13989] |
