Gimp 3.2.4 tool options dialog - bboma - 06-27-2026
I can't get the tool options dialog to stay. As soon as I click somewhere else on the screen it disappears and I have to load it again.

Is this an accident ? You detatched the tool options and it is a separate window.
The easiest way is restore Gimp to default configuration.

If it is intentional, and you do want the tool options as a separate floating window, then you can pin it on top using MS PowerToys
From the Windows Store or here https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases
IMHO Bloatware 270 MB installer but lots of tools, including an "Always On Top" which can pin the floating window above Gimp.
