Patterns: figure with hatching. How can one create such a pattern - saint_m - 08-02-2026 hello and good day dear friends, i am currently workin on a step-by-step process on how to make typical changes—such as adjusting the color tone, and getting to know how to create certain patterns: see an example. [attachment=14574] Shown in the image is a circle with hatching. How can one create such a pattern—how do you achieve that? How would you go about this—using which graphic tools? hmm - how to achive this - what are your ideas, ways and methods to create such patterns? look forward to hear from you greetings

In the past, (Gimp 2.8 or 2.10) hatching was often done by filling a selection with a pattern. The problem is the pattern size is fixed. The attached is a remake of the AutoCAD patterns in a small size 100 x 100 pix. They are black on transparency and are tilable. [attachment=14576] They might be useful sometime. I will digg deeper into all that. The pattern - thing is so powerful And i think that this is feasible for ll my needs.
