RE: Plays with Gimp - Pat625 - 01-19-2019

Dramatic and very artistic. I really like that last one!

RE: Plays with Gimp - dinasset - 01-19-2019

Thanks Pat.
I did some also today.
Difficult to select the best one (IMO), but anyhow I chose this one.

I see many artistic effects in your outcomes.  Smile

Thanks Issabella.
One of my today's outcomes.

RE: Plays with Gimp - dinasset - 01-21-2019

Today a different "play".
Recycled the "Conte" effect originally created by Akkana Peck and ported to 2.10 by Sherman.
Then translated into python, adding some personal modifications, for instance the possibility to use any available palette.
Here the result using the original auto-generated palette:

and here using a slightly modified "Pastels" palette.

Another nice effect. I like it. Thanks for sharing your experiments and results.  Smile

RE: Plays with Gimp - dinasset - 01-22-2019

Thanks Issabella.

Today another old effect, again ported to python and slightly modified to my taste: INKPEN.
Original edition by "Eddy Verlinden" "2007, juli"
Modified/tested by "Paul Sherman" "08/26/2018 on GIMP 2.10.6".

Here one example.
