Question: Does this forum focus more on photography or free art? - i.candide - 01-24-2019
I am a photographer, and am trying to escape from the expensive annual updates for apps which can be used for waterless darkroom work.
No offense is intended, but, I looked at your mission statement, and the above question arose in my addled brain. Free art is great, but if I have a serious question about working digital color or monochrome photography in GIMP, will this be the best venue for an answer?

This can be a good place (I use Gimp for photography myself).
If you are interested in photography with open-source tools, you can also have a look at pixls.us.
