Text/lettering doesn't look sharp in web page - chrisj - 02-12-2019

When creating a logo with text/words, it appear clear/sharp on gimp, but after exporting to .png and uploading the lettering doesn't look as clear/sharp. Any suggestions?

Two things to check:
  • Re-download the image from the web site and compare it with the file you uploaded (file type, file size, and image browser). Some websites are known to recompress images.
  • Measure the size of the image in your browser and compare it with your image. If not the same, the image is re-scaled on the fly in browser and this blurs text a bit.
Otherwise, attach the logo here and give a URL.
