Recreating an image - Viceroy07 - 09-04-2019

Hello everyone,

I have been trying to imitate this image. So far I have created this but I am still not satisfied with the results. I have cloud brushes installed but I feel like this requires more tools to be used. I do not know what other tools or in what order to use them. So far I have been using brush and smudge and adjusting opacity, hardness, size and toughness. I also want to have this ''misty/foggy'' background behind clouds.

How can I achieve best results like in the first image? What steps do I need to follow?

Do any of the brushes you downloaded feature fog?  I suppose there are foggy brushes as well.  Another option for some fog is I'm sure there are textures you can use, and set the layer mode to add or screen.

Thank you for you suggestion Solid Snake. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gEkKWKLwIrU

I downloaded some fog and mist brushes and it helped. Just needed apply more of it with higher density. Here is a final result. I am satisfied now.

Humor. Just some kind of victory gingle. You can't get Wagner's Walkyrie every time...

I'm feeling a bit like Spock on Star Trek, or the protagonist in the big ban theory, but ok, humor is always welcome.
