Stroke selection antialising on but has hard edge, why? - marigolden - 03-24-2020

When I select stroke selection i keep on antialising but it's still giving a hard edge, as in there's not that graduated blend of pixels at the edges. Why doesn't it work?

What line width are you using? Only odd line widths have anti-aliasing.
I know, strange, but that is the way Gimp works.

Ahh..that explains the inconsistency!
The least they could do is have a popup message if you try to select antialiasing for even numbers that says it can't be done on even numbers
