Solid Colours Lost on Export - Ben03 - 09-11-2020 I apologise if this is addressed in another topic, but don't know the technical terms for what's going on here. It is probably a simple setting I am missing: When I export an image, jpeg or png, any area of a solid colour is removed from the image. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks RE: Solid Colours Lost on Export - rich2005 - 09-11-2020 Difficult to determine from the description, can you give a before and after comparison. A screenshot will do. Saved file: [Image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4u9cygd9ihstr6g/test.png?dl=0] How it displays in Magento 2: [Image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e4lbd61offk74jm/test_2.png?dl=0] If I save with other Graphic editors this doesn't happen, so what setting should I use/not use to aviod this happening? A bit of a scathing commentary entitled "magento-2-is-it-really-worth-the-pain" does say not easy to use, but that article is 4 years old. For your png file. 1. Do you need transparency? Remove the alpha channel Layer -> Transparency -> Remove Alpha Channel 2. Export the png with minimal settings as: [attachment=4908] Might make a difference when you use with Magento 2 |
