I have had a bug where I can't see my selection - KammanderKraken - 01-07-2021

I have had a bug where I can't see my selection, any ideas on how to fix this? I am using GIMP 2.10.22 and I'm on a MacBook Air. Thanks in advance! And is there ever going to be a MacBook Air supported GIMP version?

That's because there isn't any fix for it until someone finds the cause and fixes it in code. If you follow this issue: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-/issues/5989 you can watch how progress is being made on the (probably) related slow-down issue.
