I wonder how long it takes for Gimp Chat to renew their domain? The way it's been going lately it maybe lights out over there.

Still working for me here in the UK, although the whois lookup is a bit dubious https://who.is/whois/gimpchat.com

Just discovered it myself. I no longer use GC but it was concerning as I thought it might be a permanent closing.

Obviously, renewed for two years back in 2019... (in case you wonder, G-F.n has been renewed in August and is good to go until October 2023).
The strange bit is that the IP address (108.160.151.87) no longer works either... or did they move GC somewhere else?
