How do I enable hyphenation? - Mr.Gabriel-123 - 07-14-2022

Is there a way to add automatic hyphenation in GIMP?

I'm designing a brochure and need a straighter margin on the right side when the text changes lines, but the only way I've managed to do so is by manually adding a hyphen(-).

Kind regards,

Gabriel

It should be automatic when you change the text box size to break a word in two.

That is the case here for English. It might be the language you use.  Which language ?

In addition, Gimp text handling is poor. For a brochure, Inkscape is better. Graphics imported from Gimp but text using Inkscape   Ahh, It came from an Inkscape extension which no longer works with the latest Inkscape.
