I was not aware that gimp-forum did change its name - PixLab - 03-29-2023

It is called "Carbon" now?

For those who don't know, take a look at the VERY bottom right on any page and select "carbon"

A bit of love on this theme would be nice  Big Grin

A MyBB theme that misses the page header. I'm sure it could be fixed but carbon is imaginative Smile

It is juts a MyBB theme that has not be disabled (for the dark theme addicts). Not recommended because some of my hacks are only tested on the default theme. For instance, I don't know how this looks.

Seems most are going for the dark themes now because it is better on the eyes.
I noticed that too Pix but remembered it was the name of the theme.

It's been many years that I'm using dark theme (not that dark, though), indeed my eyes are more relaxed, way more relaxed Wink

@Ofnuts, just click on Carbon theme on any page (put back to default immediately after) Wink

I should say that when writing/answering to a post this white background is hurting  Sad (I need to re-activate my "Dark Reader")

EDIT, OK Carbon theme is not good, we don't see links in comment (I just saw it)

I use a dark theme in most forums I go to now. Pity I can't in Gimp Chat as there is no option to change

I use an add-on called "Dark Reader" (I'm using Firefox, but you Google's Chrome has it as well) > https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/darkreader/
This will put all web in  dark mode, it easy to set up your preferences, which website you do not want in dark mode and so Wink

What I can say is that gimp-forum is gorgeous with this add-on (default setting), a lot more beautiful than the original dark mode of GF IMO, and yes it's very relaxing for the eyes, and I love this "skin".

on the other hand, GC, is not as good in dark mode, but still way better than the original "white" theme, and better for my eyes, anyway now I have to use it to see GC this way, so it's cool as well for me Wink

Dark mode, film photography, vynil records: three things that were forced on my generation by technology limitations, and that we were very happy to lose once we got vastly superior replacements...
