Query re colour of type - sallyanne - 06-17-2023

Have the colours of the lettering on the main interface changed recently?
I use a dark theme and had no trouble  seeing them before - all of a sudden the writing has gone black on a dark grey theme!?
I know I could have made the change - I was messing around in preferences earlier today. I do not recall going into themes though. Is there anywhere else I could have changed it? How can I change it back to a lighter colour?

Maybe change the theme to any, Apply, re-change the theme to your preferred theme > Apply again
Does it work?

[attachment=9941]All except the top menu Patrice

I remember what I was doing now. I tried to make a shortcut for the grid without success. Followed Riches directions because I had no idea how to get there but I couldn't make one anyhow.
I do remember when I tried to change disabled on one to a new shortcut the window just blinked to something else so I had no idea what happened then but didn't notice this until about half hour ago
Unless it was always black - notice the difference in size to the top word?

I can get something like that by enabling High Contrast Mode for the Windows theme ***but*** only temporary, restart Gimp and light lettering is back.  It says that the toggle for that is: Alt - left-shift  -  PrtSc (not working for me but it is a Win10 VM)

Oh thank you, thankyou. It is white again. Smile
I remember why the top is bigger now too. I changed my text size in my settings last night to be a little larger.
