Gimp license - movix97 - 11-19-2023

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum, I would like to ask some information about Gimp, Gimp is free and open source right?
Can it also be used to create covers for ebooks or other digital products and then put them on sale? Or is there a limitation?
Thank you.

Yes, you can. GIMP is free software, it doesn’t put restrictions on the kind of work you produce with it.

Hi, it is said that you can also modify Gimp at a programmatic level, but I don't really understand if I can also use the covers created with Gimp to put them on ebooks that I then sell, can this be done?

Use Gimp to make your artwork, sell your ebooks, Not a problem. Edit: Just do not advertise them here Wink
