Scalers resolution - TwoCanes - 01-14-2024

Hi,

I'd like to change the default X and Y resolutions for the Image/Layer Scalers
from 72 to 300

Any way to do that?

If you create the image from scratch, you can set this:
  • For the default image: Edit ➤ Preferences ➤ Default image ➤ Advanced options
  • For image templates (that you can select at the top of the File ➤ New... dialog), when you define/edit them in the Template dialog.
But if you open an existing image, Gimp will keeps its definition.

Yeah, I tried that a few days ago. No joy. Seems like if one uses
the scalers, like, all the time, there would be a way to set the default.

I grepped all the files in my 2.10 directory, no joy there either.

Thanks for your reply!

What did you try exactly?
