How to set line thickness to 0.001"? - stickMan - 02-18-2024

I'm using a laser engraver that can cut a variety of material. When using Adobe Illustrator, "cutting mode" happens when line thickness is set to 0.001" (one thousandths of an inch). Can GIMP set line thickness to 0.001"?

Vielen Dank!

One thou of an inch Wink  Not as such.
Gimp is a bitmap / raster editor and the smallest unit is a pixel.

If you want a one pixel line ( = 0.001") then you need to set up your canvas properties before starting your design.

Example for a 1" x 1" (1) square with pixels-per-inch (dpi) set at 1000 (2)
