GIMP-bin at /Applications/GIMP.app/Contents/MacOS not working
#1
When I run GIMP-bin at /Applications/GIMP.app/Contents/MacOS, I get lots of error messages.

Eg.

Code:
(GIMP-bin:58759): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: GIMP-bin: gimp_wire_read(): error
dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Resources/lib/libgimpui-2.0.0.dylib
 Referenced from: /Applications/GIMP.app/Contents/Resources/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/softglow
 Reason: image not found

If I try to run from Spotlight, it takes a very long time to load.

welcome to gimp-forum.net

There are very few experienced (none) Mac/OSX users on the forum at this time.

To increase your chance of a solution, ask the same question at http://gimpchat.com/ where there are one or two Mac users.

As well as that, give the version of Gimp. There are OSX packages from various sources such as http://www.partha.org , http://gimp.lisanet.de and via gimp.org downloads page.

Depending on your version it will be worth trying to contact the maintainer for advice.

Looks like an installation problem? Where did you get that version of Gimp?
