Resolution/ Quality Collage
#1
Hi,
I think I need some logic advice please.
I like to create a medley of several images on one page. Iit is primarily designated to use on my 5.2 inch smartphone, 1920x1080, 428ppi.
I also want to zoom in to see the details and text on each individual imag as good as possible. Now I have the problem with selecting the first plank background layer, where I have to specify either the width and height or pixels and the ppi.
Do you have any suggestion what template setting I should choose to have the best quality for my 1920x1080 smartphone?
Thank you very much for your help I appreciate it.

Digital images only have sizes in pixels. They do not have ppi or sizes in inches. So you use the pixel size 1920x1080. Create an image that size.

For your phone:
1920 pixels / 5.2 inch = 369 ppi, not quite the 428 ppi
(maybe the 5.2 inch is the size of the case, not the size of the screen)

On smartphones the screen size is the diagonal, like for TVs. It is roughly 1.2x longer than the long side.

Thanks a lot!
Is there anything I can do to increase the quality and ability to zoom in?

Feels like I can only zoom in to a certain amount on my phone, but when I choose >1920x>1080 it feels like I can zoom in even deeper with the same quality.
