Convert xcf to psd (with paths)
#6
Quote:Anyway, I know I can export a .xcf file as a .psd file and open it in Photoshop. The problem is: when I open it, the layers are all there but the paths are gone.

Not .psd but export from Gimp to a .tif Layers and paths are saved. The sort of process using Gimp to get clipping paths into Scribus. However, AFAIK opening said tif in PS results in the layers flattened but paths are still there.

Not able to say if PS exports tiff files in the same way for opening in Gimp.

You might be able to use a combination of both xcf(gimp psd) + tif -> to Photoshop or psd + tif -> to Gimp
