Thanks for that. I'll have a try. Basically some other are doing this to make things like the rivets and other likely raised parts of the aircraft to stand out a bit; obviously not to the extreme. All I have to work on is the texture dds file supplied by the original designer so no chance of getting any layers which is part of the problem. The idea is to add another dds file to the texures with an extended name which is recognized by a shader.ini in the sim.
