My GIMP seems to have been installed in C:/GimpShop/bin/gimp-2.8 subdirectory - (5,127 KB) Application.
I have installed 2.8.0 on my win 7 computer from GIMP Downloads - PhotoShop has nothing to do with it !
I merely said I had been using PhotoShop under XP on my old computer - now I can't use it.
Everything is as it should be - apparently !
Where does it usually install to ?
I have watched the video on getting GIMP to recognize the English Help File (GB)

entered English [en_GB] in the user Interface. The Help files were installed w/o modification
where it normally installs, on C:/program files/GIMP 2
GIMP still says the "User Manuals are not installed locally" ! How does one get GIMP to know
the Help Files are installed locally ? What is "locally" to GIMP ?
