Full Version: How do I rotate without losing the ends of the image?

I wanted to use this specific piece of an image:

I wanted that streak of light to be VERTICAL, though, so I rotated the image, and got:



[Image: rotated.jpg]

As you can see, the uppermost and lowermost bits of the image are missing. How can I rotate an image and end up with the ENTIRE image after it’s done?
Increase the canvas size.

In the menu thats under 'Image -> Canvas Size'.
That helped, it added back the missing bottom piece, BUT no matter how much extra height I gave it, it doesn't bring back the missing TOP piece:

The layer is clipped to the canvas size.
You can move the layer with the move tool, or align it inside the increase canvas size dialogue.
That fixed it, thank you! :-)
