Gimp 3.0.4 AppImage - rich2005 - 05-19-2025 ...for ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04 / equivalent Mint. On my cloud storage gimp_304_deb.AppImage about 97 MB https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZUxTh5ZVQsjmT7JPP8hpStImFT6WXijSh2V Comes with installed gimp_gmic_qt 3.5.4 (remember QT5 is required) and resynth-heal plug-ins. Edit: An update for gmic plugin 3.5.5 https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=XZahCj5Zn7QOMX9izr04mgaNBWHGOf2U7NUk Download unzip and put the gimp_gmic_qt folder in your user plugins folder (it will supersede the old version) It has some failings, python is a bit old. The usual guarantee - there is none ... there is also the gimp.org Gimp 3.0.4 appimage Get it from https://www.gimp.org/downloads/ - RE: Gimp 3.0.4 AppImage - 5354photos - 05-23-2025 (05-19-2025, 10:18 AM)rich2005 Wrote: ...for ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04 / equivalent Mint. So, if I install your latest, can I add the specific folder path in the preference and use the plugins stored in that folder? Yes, It works the same as any other Gimp update. Your Gimp user profile, which contains the Folder paths remains. Your plugins are normally in ~/.config/GIMP/3.0/plug-ins/ But you can check in Edit -> Preferences -> Folders. You can add your own. I am lazy and add a more convenient folder Typically (1) The system folder (2) The User Profile location (3) My added plugins folder. [attachment=13505] |
