For linux users there is a java version packaged as an appimage.

useful if you do not use exivtool very much.

Nice find, I was using the python version (pyexiftoolgui) which was not working lately.
Also on its github it has DMGs for macOS beside the appimage and even for a version for @denzjos Wink > https://github.com/hvdwolf/jExifToolGUI/releases

What is nice with java is that it can be OS independent, thus it works on Linux, macOS, and windows, a good example would be Pixelitor... just my thoughts Wink

I completely agree, some small java things are a gem  Blush
