Nice find, I was using the python version (pyexiftoolgui) which was not working lately.
Also on its github it has DMGs for macOS beside the appimage and even for a version for @denzjos > https://github.com/hvdwolf/jExifToolGUI/releases

What is nice with java is that it can be OS independent, thus it works on Linux, macOS, and windows, a good example would be Pixelitor... just my thoughts

I understand development was stopped in 2023....anyway, it is very useful for me who relies on gui version in linux
