Getting back from "Don't ask me again"?
#1
When I load a TIF file, a dialog pops up.
If I click "Don't ask me again", how do I get back to having the dialog pop up?

Got to the top menu Edit > Preferences... A window opens
1 - click on Color management.
2 - on the right side > scroll down to the bottom.
3- at File Open behaviour, click on that bar and select "Ask what to do".
4 - Click OK to confirm your choice (you might need to restart GIMP if it does not work immediately)

Thanks!  Works perfectly.
I am grateful for the effort you expended on this.
I nosed around in the documentation, but nothing jumped out at me.
The 50 or 60 Gimp documenters have a big job.

(I much prefer flat PDF files for documentation.  They are easy to search.)

There is an English PDF available https://gimp.linux.it/www/meta/gimp-help-2.10-en.pdf 45 MB 1070 pages Not bang-up-to-date, it is November 2021 but it is indexed and searchable
