bunnywaffle plugins

These seem to be created using AI - there is an Antigravity attribution / copyright. Such is life.

However, Gimp 3.2 users can try them out.  Look here initially for what is available, there might be more in the future.  https://github.com/bunnywaffle/  Look in the Repositories section and from there you can get to a github download.

These are just my findings. I did spend a bit of time trying out options and settings but not working for the sort of images I use. Typically this, an urban scene, light pole to remove.

(1) Content-Aware-Fill, slow and leaves a "ghost" (resynthesizer still the best alternative)
Quick-Selection-Brush.  A bit too easy to "bleed" the selection into the surrounding area. When does work, very nice selection.

(2) Mesh Warp, much needed in standard Gimp. Brings up its own window. There is a drop-down of presets. (There is a gmic alternative)
Vector Shape Generator, Works ok, a little like a very much updated Gimp 2.8 / 2.10 path-shapes script.

A few days ago, I installed a number of these plug-ins, but since I couldn't find some of them in the GIMP menu, I simply removed them from the plug-ins folder. Personally, I didn't feel they really added anything to GIMP. Now I see that 'Mesh Warp' looks interesting, but after placing the plug-in in the GIMP plug-ins folder, I still can't find that one in the GIMP menu either. Any ideas?

It is working here: Win 11 (VM) Gimp 3.2.4 The packaging of these are a bit suspect, so gimp-mesh-warp-main.zip unpacks to

36K LICENSE
64K mesh-warp.py
64K mesh_warp.py
4.0K README.md

Two identical plugins with different names mesh-warp.py and mesh_warp.py

I went for mesh-warp.py in a mesh-warp folder and the plugin shows up (bottom of) Filters -> Distorts -> Mesh Warp

I think it has the edge on gmic interactive warp, so might be a keeper.

The shapes plugin might be useful for users who want pre-made shapes, not a big deal for me.
