It looks a bit like a distribution similar to the pattern i posted, that came out of the displacement-map thread.
So is it plasma using a specific d-map ?

It looks a bit like a rorschach test. I can almost see a face in the middle Smile
Is that you ofnuts ? Big Grin

That's my shred-layer script. On your image:

1) Layer>Shred layer and give a spacing equal to the width of the strips, and ask for transparency fill. You get a new image with evenly spaced strips.
2) Duplicate the strips layer, flip it, and shift it by one strip width so that the copy now fills the transparency
3) Image>Fit canvas to layers, and merge down
4) re-apply 1, 2, and 3 on that image changing horizontal to vertical and vice-versa

Another usage: symmetrize peoples' faces. The result is a bit more natural than just flipping one side.

Because that image of "yours" looks slightly alien.
Although the sunglass and monitor shapes made me think of HAL2000 Wink
